Matt is currently pianist and assistant conductor for The Drowsy Chaperone on Broadway. Matt's other Broadway credits include playing in the following orchestra pits: The Lion King (Key I) , Beauty and the Beast (Key I), and All Shook Up Off-Broadway credits include: Almost Heaven: The Songs of John Denver, Once Around the Sun, and Chef's Theatre.

He has worked on the music staff for Bette Midler's Kiss My Brass US Tour as a vocal arranger, rehearsal pianist, and vocal coach for Bette Midler.


Matt recently served as music director and pianist for the "My Broadway Debut" contest for The Early Show on CBS. Matt has worked with such artists as Neil Diamond. Matt was the original lead tenor (MC HiC), music director, and arranger of the "Hip Hopera" segment on "The Morning Show with Ed Lover and Dr. Dre", broadcast on Power 105.1 FM in New York City.

Matt is a regular guest artist/instructor for the annual Ketchikan Jazz/Cabaret Festival in Ketchikan, Alaska.

Matt, a native of South Kingstown, RI, earned a B.Mus. in jazz piano and composition from New York University.
